BEXHED is a marketplace for fine art, design and antiques. The company is founded by Sofie Bexhed and Magnus Bexhed – two of Sweden's leading experts, with extensive experience in valuation, advisory and sales within the premium segment. BEXHED is an independent company that offers private sales, intermediation, advisory services and acquisition of fine art, design and antiques. We work with a consistent focus on quality, commitment and the client's best interest through excellence and unwavering dedication.
With deep knowledge of both the Swedish and international art markets, BEXHED combines personal advisory with strategic collection management. Our passion for art, together with our dedicated approach to each client, makes us a trusted partner – whether building a collection from the ground, refining an existing legacy or the disposal of an appreciated artwork.
BEXHED is located at Cardellgatan 1, on the corner of Sturegatan in central Stockholm, adjacent to Humlegården – an address with an established place in the city's art world. Over the years, the property has housed several notable galleries and art institutions, including Svensk-Franska Konstgalleriet, Galerie Moderne and Galerie Blanche.

Sofie Bexhed
Sofie Bexhed is one of Sweden's leading art experts. She has held several senior roles within the auction business, most recently as Co-owner and Head of Sales at Uppsala Auktionskammare, and previously as Head of the Art Department at Stockholms Auktionsverk. Sofie has also worked at Bukowskis and, since 2019, been one of the art experts of the Swedish television programme Antikrundan (The Antiques Roadshow).
Sofie is recognised for her deep expertise, precision and personal commitment. Throughout her long career, she has contributed to and been responsible for numerous record-breaking sales of both modern and classical art, generating significant value for both sellers and buyers.
Magnus Bexhed
Magnus Bexhed is one of Sweden's most recognised experts in fine art, design and antiques. He has extensive experience in the art and auction industry and spent nearly twenty years at Uppsala Auktionskammare, where he served as CEO and Co-Owner for fifteen years until 2025. Magnus is also widely known as one of the experts of the Swedish television programme Antikrundan (The Antiques Roadshow).
His personal commitment and in-depth market knowledge has earned him strong trust among both sellers and buyers. Magnus has played a key role in numerous successful record-breaking sales, spanning both Swedish and international art.
